George Monbiot? Whooo hoooo… a name like that is a real invitation… LOL!
Seriously, though… it was the Guardian. They ALL believe the US media is “owned” by the right. It IS owned by corporations, but they don’t get the notion of allowing subordinants to run their own departments without interference from above. Hands off management IS the best way to run a large concern.
Besides, most of the big media companies support Democrats.
